We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Office Cleaner to maintain a clean and organized workspace for our employees and visitors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure a sanitary and welcoming environment. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

The Recruitment Co are recruitng for a Office Cleaner to work in the centre of Glasgow, G2.

Candidates must have previous cleaning experience.

Duties will include:

Mopping
Hoovering
Polishing
Emptying Bins
Stacking Dishwasher

Key Responsibilities:

• General Cleaning: Perform routine cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors in offices, meeting rooms, restrooms, and common areas.
• Restroom Maintenance: Clean and disinfect restrooms, ensuring that they are stocked with necessary supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
• Waste Management: Empty trash cans and recycling bins, ensuring proper disposal of waste and adherence to recycling guidelines.
• Surface Cleaning: Wipe down surfaces, including desks, countertops, and equipment, to remove dirt and germs.
• Window and Glass Cleaning: Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces to ensure a clear and polished appearance.
• Special Projects: Assist with deep cleaning tasks, such as carpet cleaning or floor maintenance, as needed.
• Inventory Management: Monitor and report inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring that supplies are replenished as needed.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols while using cleaning supplies and equipment.

The working hours for this role will be Monday – Friday 5pm-10pm

The pay rate is £11.44 per hour

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: Previous experience in cleaning or custodial work is preferred but not required.
• Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of cleaning products and equipment.

Working Conditions:

• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or early mornings, as required.
• May require physical tasks, including lifting and moving heavy items and standing for extended periods.
